10 Worst Actors In WWE History

2. Kelly Kelly

When WWE hired Kelly Kelly to a contract when she was just 19 years old, they didn't do it because she had some impressive resume of acting work or history in wrestling. She was still a teenager that was hired, quite frankly, for her looks. There's nothing wrong with that. It happens all the time in wrestling. Guys want to see hot girls out there. It's fine. If you look at her career from the time she debuted as an exhibitionist (or stripper if we want to get technical) to the time she left in 2012 it's not like she changed that much. All they really did was give her the last name of Kelly, which is about the least creative name in wrestling history. There wasn't much to her in terms of being a character. She smiled about 90% of the time. When she had to do a promo or act backstage, it was tough to watch. Have you ever seen that Seinfeld episode where Jerry dates that really hot girl that gets him out of a speeding ticket? It's as if Kelly was that girl. People just accepted the fact that she was really hot and it didn't matter that she had no emotion on her face when she was in a ring. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Lf1NnHcgNM Kelly worked only as a babyface likely because WWE didn't think she could do much in a heel role. They were not going to have her go out there to cut a scathing promo against a good girl because she likely didn't have it in her. She did improve enough in the ring that she won the Divas Title, but it's not like her acting skill got her there.
