Brock Lesnar is one of the most decorated athletes in WWE history because of what he's done in WWE as well as his impressive career in the UFC and as a NCAA wrestler. What he's not known for are his promos and his work in acting segments. Have you noticed that since Lesnar has been back in WWE for the last two years that they have really limited the amount of backstage segments he's involved in? It's because he was never that good in them. He's done some backstage attacks, but it's not like he's going to carry a segment. He did have a funny "say something stupid, Paul" line last year although those are pretty rare. When he was in WWE during his first run in 2002-2004, they definitely tried putting him in acting situations. In 2003 when he was a face that was buddies with Kurt Angle, they tried out some comedy bits to show off his fun side. It didn't really work that well. While Angle is a natural on camera, Lesnar's act came off as forced as a good guy. He was alwyas better in the heel role. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTaPuAXT1AQ To WWE's credit, they don't put Lesnar in situations where he's going to look bad by doing a promo or saying the wrong thing. He's there to kick ass. Leave the promos and acting bits to Heyman.
