10 Worst Booked WWE Champions Of All Time

7. Goldberg

It’s a common sentiment that WWE’s booking of Goldberg in 2003 was one of their biggest ever creative mishaps. All WWE needed to do was follow the WCW formula. Instead, they vastly over complicated Goldberg’s presentation and by the time he left WWE at WrestleMania XX, fans were happy to see him go.

Goldberg’s World title run was certainly no exception to the aforementioned creative failures. By the time WWE finally put the belt on Goldberg at the Unforgiven PPV, some fans believed it was too late, and should have come one month prior at SummerSlam inside the Elimination Chamber instead.

The run itself lasted 84 days and Goldberg only managed to feud with Triple H and Kane during that time period. The problem with the booking was that it revolved around Triple H putting a bounty on Goldberg’s head which in turn made Goldberg vulnerable and ultimately the underdog, which was the complete opposite of the way Goldberg should be booked.

Brad Preston hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
