10 Worst Case Booking Scenarios For WrestleMania 35

8. Dominick Destroys Joe Vs. Mysterio

Charlotte Flair Kofi Kingston

Dominick's involvement in the Rey Mysterio vs. Samoa Joe programme doesn't make a drop of narrative sense.

Rey brought his son onto television, not Joe. He involved him in the angle by announcing he'd be ringside at WrestleMania. Why, then, is the lucha legend prattling on about "defending his family's honour" on 'The Grandest Stage Of Them All?'. You brought your son here, man. Joe didn't so much as lift a finger. Fair enough, the bruiser was super creepy around AJ Styles' family, but if anything happens to Dominick, it's nobody but Rey's fault.

Besides, didn't Mysterio Sr. see what happened when Miz's dad was at Fastlane? This is stupid.

Dominick will be involved in some shape or form. His ringside presence wouldn't be advertised if he wasn't going to do something, whether it be getting slapped by Joe or even turning on his father. Either way, WWE would do well to keep it low-key. Joe vs. Rey doesn't look like a potential show-stealer, but it's a fun match for sure, and the last thing fans of certain preferences will want is for it to get buried in some wacky Mysterio family drama.
