10 Worst Case Booking Scenarios For WrestleMania 35
7. The Demon Falls
Finn Balor's Demon character was first spotted on WWE's WrestleMania 35 poster weeks ago. Him showing up in New York as his alter ego isn't guaranteed, but it's a safe bet, particularly as he's tasked with defeating a powerhouse in Bobby Lashley who put him away at the last time of asking.
The Irishman needs to get the job done, so why not call on the guaranteed victory?
WWE have done a good job of preserving the Demon thus far. Though his initial call-up spawned understandable oversaturation concerns, Finn only dons his facepaint sparingly. Its last outing saw him crush Baron Corbin in hilariously quick fashion. Doing the same to a supposed monster like Lashley probably isn't on the cards, but he should put Big Bad Bobby away with less trouble than usual.
But what if he doesn't? What if the company decide, for some hare-brained reason, that Lashley should be the one to hand the Demon his first main roster loss? It's a moment that should be saved for later down the line, once Finn has notched a few notable victories under the guise, and burning it at 'Mania 35 would be dumb as hell. WWE gonna WWE, though.
