10 Worst Crossovers In Wrestling

1. The Muppets

A lot of people love The Muppets, and a lot of people love WWE. There weren’t many people out there who thought that the two needed to collaborate. But in 2011, they did just that on Monday Night RAW.

It just wasn’t easy watching the wrestlers interact with The Muppets as if they were real. It didn’t feel right. I mean, at the very least, shouldn’t the wrestlers have seen the people underneath the puppets with their hands up their butts? Well, all the classic characters showed up in situations right out of Vince’s brain: Miss Piggy and Vickie Guerrero argued, Jack Swagger threatened to eat Kermit, and we found out that Sheamus and Beaker are storyline brothers. If that's true, then why didn't he join The League of Nations?

The night of horribly painful fun was topped off in a match with Santino vs. Jack Swagger. Beaker gave Santino a potion he and Bunson created, which Santino used to beat his opponent by spitting it in his face. From World Champ to losing because of a character from Muppet Babies. Has anyone fallen further in WWE history?

Imagine as a teenager watching Raw with Steve Austin, The Rock and The Undertaker and imagining years later the program would devolve to this. So yes, in the universe that WWE has created the Muppets exist in it too. Try to wrap your head around that.

It’s not easy being green, and sometimes it’s not easy being a WWE fan.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
