10 Worst Cruiserweight Champions Ever

2. Hornswoggle

After the Chavo Classic and Jaqueline debacles, the WWE Cruiserweight Championship eventually found its way back into the arms of Chavo Guerrero and slowly but surely the division started to regain some much needed momentum. Sure the division would never reach the heights of its WCW glory days, but thanks to some notable efforts by Chavo and other under-heralded talents such as Paul London, Psychosis and Kid Kash the division started to make steady progress. Unfortunately any progress made came to a screeching halt when Hornswoggle captured the Championship at the Great American Bash 2007. Hornswoggle won the title as a part of a six-man Cruiserweight Open. He surprised everyone by climbing out from under the ring and pinning Jamie Noble.. This turned out to be the final nail in the coffin for the Cruiserweight Division. On September 25, 2007 SmackDown general manager Vickie Guerrero stripped him of the title because of his status as Vince McMahon€™s illegitimate son (remember that one?) The WWE Cruiserweight Championship was officially retired in 2008 when WWE removed it from its list of active titles. Between Leprechauns, Dry Humping and Homophobia it€™s probably for the best.
