10 Worst Decisions We Have Made As The Authority Of WWE

5. Put Injured Tommaso Ciampa Through The Wringer

We Are The Authority
WWE

This wasn't our fault.

Sure, we knew full well that Tommaso Ciampa's neck was hanging off by a thread, and it probably wasn't a good idea to have him wrestle any more than was strictly necessary - but what we were to do? Yes, we were mere weeks away from the culmination of the epic, intricate 2.5 year Johnny Gargano feud - but we needed to pop a RAW rating.

On the subject of Gargano, he hasn't been seen on main roster programming since. Again, not our fault; he can't possibly be kept apart from...

...the man he despises. We are the Authority, but Vince McMahon still turns up to TV, and he's very intimidating. It's daunting to roam those halls, knowing we and talent alike are in close proximity to his wild, erratic moods.

It is for this reason that, as the Authority, we have implemented a buddy system.

Under this new model, talent is now able to share and stave off one another's fears, and so fellow sudden NXT call-ups Ricochet and stoic loner Aleister Black have formed a tag team. It's a bit strange bedfellows, if you want to be pedantic about it, but be reasonable.

Diluting their appeal isn't 50/50 booking, and we haven't arbitrarily jobbed them out yet.
