A lot of people hated Big Show's reign as ECW Champion because of who he beat: Rob Van Dam. It's not like WWE really wanted to end RVD's reign so soon. They really had no choice. He got arrested for marijuana and drug possession, so they had to take the title off him while he was suspended. Show actually had a long reign that lasted for about six months, but fans hated him as ECW Champion because it represented ECW the wrong way. Instead of being this rebellious company name that was all about taking risks, it became WWE-lite. There was a famous ECW match where Show and Batista were getting booed out of the building by the fans. They didn't want Big Show associated with ECW, yet WWE didn't care. They still made Show the ECW Champion. The reason Big Show is here is because he represented everything that was wrong with WWE's version of ECW. They used him to try to build up guys like
