10 Worst ECW Champions Ever

7. Mikey Whipwreck

Mikey Whipwreck is one of the most likable wrestlers in ECW history. He was the prototypical underdog that looked like he didn't even belong in wrestling, but when you watched him wrestle you could see that he really belonged. Fans loved him for the heart he showed in his matches and his ability to pull off some cool moves too. The Sandman was an ECW mainstay and he was the champ for much of 1995. Whipwreck challenged him in a ladder match at an event on October 28, 1995. To the surprise of nearly everybody, Whipwreck ended up as the winner of the match. Whipwreck's title reign lasted only six weeks, but he did win a match against Steve Austin in his greatest title defense. Sandman won the title back from him to put an end to the underdog's reign.
