In case you couldn't already tell, CM Punk hasn't had the greatest luck inside Hell in a Cell.

For whatever reason, WWE decided to reignite the Punk vs. Ryback feud one year later in the fall of 2013, this time with Paul Heyman representing Ryback and not Punk. Despite Punk beating Ryback decisively weeks earlier at Battleground, a rematch was held anyway at Hell in a Cell. It was technically a 2-on-1 Handicap match with Heyman and Ryback stacking the odds against Punk, even though Heyman was on the top of the cage the entire time and never once got involved.

If you thought their original encounter a year earlier fell flat, you were probably even more let down by this match. Punk dominated a majority of the match and put The Big Guy away with ease, all while Heyman watched from afar. Fans anxiously awaiting for something else to happen or for Heyman to interfere in spectacular fashion but were instead left disappointed.

Punk proceeding to unleash a brutal beating on Heyman on the Hell in a Cell structure somewhat made up for the less-than-stellar ending, but not entirely.
