From one crappy match to another and this show didn't even have Bret vs. Owen to bring it up (although there was a fairly decent ladder match... ).

In 1995, the former Man on a Mission, Mabel, was given a singles push. He won the '95 King of the Ring tournament, thus earning a WWF Championship match at SummerSlam against Diesel.

The prospect of two jumbo-sized dudes clashing in the ring was far from exciting, especially when the WWF reverted to their old formula of putting the title bout on last.

The match was astronomically clunky with Diesel trying his best to make it interesting, even busted out an outside dive. Ultimately though, this was nowhere near enough.

For his troubles, Kevin Nash sustained a lower back injury when Mabel botched a sit-down splash. Not only was the champ hurt, he took ages to recover, leading to a huge dip in what was already a painfully slow match.

Thankfully, the WWF didn't go full headcase and give Mabel the belt. Nash retained, but walked out of SummerSlam with an injured back and one of the worst championship main events of all time on his resume.
