10 Worst Endings In WWE SummerSlam History
7. SummerSlam 2005
Ten years after Kevin Nash was part of one of the worst WWF main events of all time, one of his best buddies decided to give him a run for his money.
Shawn Michaels had recently turned heel on Hulk Hogan, leading to a dream match between the two icons at SummerSlam 2005.
Allegedly, the idea was for HBK and Hogan to trade wins over a series of three matches.
However, according to Michaels, The Hulkster backed out at the last minute and stated that they would only be doing one match with him being crowned the winner.
So far, so Hogan.
Now, Hulk denies all this, but it is widely accepted that Michaels' version of events is more accurate.
Still, that doesn't excuse the mess that followed.
HBK massively oversold for Hogan, flipping and bumping around the ring with every single piece of offence. If you haven't watched this match, then you owe it to yourself to see just how much Michaels goes overboard.
Despite this match being hilarious with the power of hindsight, it was still the main event of one of the biggest shows of the year and it was an absolute disaster.
