10 Worst Ever NXT TakeOver Matches

6. Wesley Blake & Buddy Murphy Vs Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady (Unstoppable)

Enzo and Cass were phenomenally over as usual, but their tag team title encounter with new heels Blake and Murphy was one of numerous missed opportunities to give them a run with the NXT Tag Team titles.

Though far better suited as sleazy heels than game babyfaces, Blake and Murphy still looked over-exposed as champions, especially when the heel turn robbed the duo of some of their more dynamic offence in place of the usual crowd-baiting antics neither had particularly mastered since the turn.

Made to look like goofs with the finish, Big Cass insisted upon tagging the exhausted and beaten Enzo back in seconds after their usual hot-tag with the intention of hitting their rocket launcher finisher.

At this point, Alexa Bliss shockingly attacked Carmella on the floor, temporarily distracting Cassady and the referee long enough for her to push the dilapidated Enzo off the top rope to give the champions a cheap victory.

Pleasingly, the new heel Bliss was the missing piece of the puzzle for the champions, and was so successful in the role as their devious valet that she'd make the main roster just over a year later in the 2016 Draft whilst the former champions still await their opportunity to this day.
