10 Worst Ever WWE Comebacks

4. Marty Jannetty (2005 & 2006)

Marty Jannetty must hold some sort of record for most times a person has been fired by WWE. Like Tatanka, Jannetty was brought back to the company in 2005 for what was supposed to be a one-shot deal. Jannetty reformed The Rockers with Shawn Michaels, defeating La Resistance on Raw. Impressed by his performance, WWE booked Jannetty against Kurt Angle (who was feuding with HBK) a short time later. Once again, Jannetty impressed and proved that he still had something about him that might be worth investing him. Based on these showings, WWE offered Jannetty a contract. Due to a domestic incident, however, the troubled Jannetty could not make his agreed dates and WWE let him go in July. The story doesn't end there. In March 2006, Jannetty returned once more to help Michaels in his dispute with Vince McMahon and the Spirit Squad. He famously took part in a Vince McMahon Kiss My Ass Club segment, during which he kept cracking up. The Rockers were supposed to reform once more but Jannetty missed a TV taping and was let go. But the story doesn't end there! Six months later, WWE once again tried to get Jannetty back on the road but, due to a court order, he couldn't travel and was fired for a third time in a year-and-a-half.
