6. Shane McMahon (2016)

Thanks to his most recent act of insanity, there's a good chance Shane McMahon won't nearly kill himself in a thinly-veiled effort to 'win' a match for his team this year, but it didn't stop him getting in on the act last year.

Selected by Daniel Bryan to lead his SmackDown Live! Squad at the expense of literally every other superstar on the roster available to him, 'Shane-O-Mac' must have felt the weight of expectations pressed down on his shoulders when he undershot on his 'Coast To Coast' move in last year's inter-brand classic. It was that, or the pure force of the Roman Reigns spear he ate on the way down, but 'The Money' suffered a legitimate concussion in the fall.

But then, of course he did - he's not a professional wrestler.

Shane may be the ultimate risk-taker in WWE canon, but it was a gamble he simply didn't need to take even stepping into the match. No matter how many endorsements the company scripted Bryan, The Undertaker and Edge to give him in the build-up, the spot belonged to one of his staffers. Shane's suffering needn't have happened at all.
