10 Worst Factions In Modern Wrestling

6. League Of Nations

While there are other factions with less success than the League of Nations, having a group of four talented men like Sheamus, Wade Barrett, Rusev and Alberto Del Rio waste away in this faction earns them a place on this list. After cashing in his Money in the Bank contract on Roman Reigns at Survivor Series, it became clear the Celtic Warrior would be nothing more than a speed bump for The Big Dog.

The four men would come together with a goal of stopping the former Shield member, while also playing the tired act of anti-American foreigners. The League of Nations would not have an ideal start, needing a seven-on-four advantage to win their first match, before losing a four-on-one handicap match to Reigns in their first match as a foursome.

Sheamus would lose the WWE Championship back to Roman, making the stable look horrendous, followed by all members being eliminated from the Royal Rumble by Reigns. They would next turn their attention to The New Day, where they would lose two separate matches for the WWE Tag Team Championships before an upset win at WrestleMania 32.

Even that would be an embarrassing night for the League of Nations, as after their win they would be beaten down by the trio of Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley and Steve Austin. The group would disband shortly after, putting an end to one of the worst factions in WWE history.
