10 Worst Final Champions In Wrestling History

7. Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs - NXT UK Tag Team Championships

The whole reason why WWE set up NXT UK was to give the best talent from Great Britain and Ireland a chance to shine on a bigger stage. Actually, that's a lie - it was set up to crush the burgeoning BritWres scene, which it did with ruthless efficiency.

Anyway, for the most part, the brand stuck to its fake mission statement, especially when it came to tag team wrestling. The Grizzled Young Veterans, Flash Morgan Webster & Mark Andrews, Pretty Deadly, and Moustache Mountain all reigned as the NXT UK Tag Team Champions, which is why it was a bit of a shock when the titles were retired under the ownership of Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen.

JB and BJ won the vacant titles, only to lose them 73 days later in a unification match with the US branch of NXT. Whilst Pretty Deadly won that match, the UK belts' lineage officially ends with the two lads born in Arizona and Alabama respectively.

Why weren't a British team given the honour of being the final holders? It's almost as if WWE stopped caring about NXT UK towards the end...
