10 WORST Matches From WWE’s Biggest Gimmick Bouts
10. Elimination Chamber
The Match: ECW's 'Extreme' Elimination Chamber from December To Dismember 2006.
Why It Was The Worst: Where do you start? This was a pay-per-view so bad that Paul Heyman visibly palmed his own forehead on air. The gimmick was that entrants would exit their individual chambers armed with weapons, but that couldn't win back a live crowd already p*ssed when it was announced that Hardcore Holly was replacing an injured Sabu.
As hard as Bobby Lashley, Holly, CM Punk, RVD, Big Show and Test worked, they couldn't make this an exciting, ECW-inspired spin off on the regular Elimination Chamber formula. Heyman's reported attempts to have either Van Dam or Punk win the thing fell on deaf ears and WWE continued shoving Lashley down everyone's throats instead.
This will never make any 'best of' compilations.
