10 WORST Matches From WWE’s Biggest Gimmick Bouts

6. Casket

Triple H Mideon Viscera Casket Match
WWE Network

The Match: Triple H vs. Mideon and Viscera on the 23 September 1999 episode of SmackDown.

Why It Was The Worst: The Casket bout gimmick can work a treat when The Undertaker is involved and has the right opponent. 'Taker and Shawn Michaels proved that at the 1998 Royal Rumble by putting on a clinic. Nearly two years later, Shawn's bestie Triple H wasn't so lucky.

He was handed Mideon and Viscera instead.

This coffin-based crap was part of an ongoing storyline that saw Vince McMahon put Trips in five different gimmick matches on the same night. The worst was this Casket effort with a bumbling duo who were never going to offer much resistance.

It took three minutes for Mideon to roll into the box. Yeah.
