10 WORST Matches From WWE’s Biggest Gimmick Bouts

5. Buried Alive

The Match: The Undertaker vs. Kane at Bragging Rights 2010.

Why It Was The Worst: WWE has only promoted five of these dirt nap matches since introducing the gimmick in 1996, and The Undertaker has been involved in them all. His bouts with Mankind, Steve Austin (despite their weird lack of chemistry) and Vince McMahon all offered some excitement.

Bragging Rights 2010 did not.

Brotherly battles between 'Taker and Kane were a bit played out by this point, and not even the involvement of Nexus could save things. On that note, why were Wade Barrett and the gang helping Kane anyway? They failed to breathe some life into a dull, plodding brawl that played before a bored audience.

Side note: If you fancy a refreshing surprise, then check out 'Taker and Big Show vs. The Rock and Mankind from the 9 September 1999 SmackDown. That was an all-action 'Buried Alive' battle.
