10 WORST Matches From WWE’s Biggest Gimmick Bouts

The Match: Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus at TLC 2015.

Why It Was The Worst: WWE's TLC gimmick hasn't resulted in many bad matches. Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns at the 2015 pay-per-view was hardly awful either, but it was living proof that a mutinous live crowd can spoil even the most inoffensive main events.

This was peak Roman bashing from an audience who delighted themselves by rebelling against WWE's wishes (that they cheer Reigns) and thus ruined the match completely. Both guys worked hard even though they were up against folks who wanted them to fail, but they couldn't offset the boos whenever Roman got on top.

If you're ever going to revisit this headliner, do so on mute. The Boston crowd trolled WWE big time here, and they killed the match dead from minute one. It was almost impossible to enjoy all those bumps when they were backed by such indifference.
