Much like the main event of WrestleMania III, the ending of The Undertaker's WrestleMania Streak was one of the iconic moments in pro wrestling history.

Many believed that it wasn't going to happen - that the Deadman was going to ride off into the sunset with his streak intact - but Brock Lesnar had other ideas. It took three F5s, but The Beast Incarnate made the impossible possible. 21-0 became 21-1.

The ending of the streak was tough to deal with in itself, but the fact that it happened at the end of such a boring, mediocre match will forever be a stone in the collective shoe of professional wrestling fans. 'Taker suffered a concussion early on in the match, meaning that everything from that point on was slow and laboured. The match was also hurt by the way it was laid out. Going into the match, nobody gave Lesnar a chance. The pacing of the match rammed this home further, as the usual Undertaker WrestleMania tropes were rolled out to polite applause before the inevitable Tombstone and 1-2-3. By the time WMXXX came around, fans had been somewhat conditioned to expect a big match out of the Deadman at 'Mania - but time caught up with him here.

It is the ending that will live on forever, but The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar may well be the trophy winner for 'Most Disappointing WrestleMania Match' of all time. It delivered an iconic moment at the end of a process that bored most of those watching. More so than any match on this list, fans are recommended to simply skip to the finish and the reaction.

When that is true of a match, it doesn't say a lot for the action itself.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
