10 Worst Matches In WWE's 100 Matches To See Before You Die

5. Yoshihiro Tajiri Vs. Super Crazy - ECW Guilty As Charged 1999

Tajiri and Super Crazy had some great battles in ECW as the company looked to bring in more international talent to fill the spots of those leaving for the two bigger companies and a more consistent payday. With two seemingly opposing styles, the two had incredible chemistry between the ropes, and many view their matches as one of the highlights of ECW's last couple of years.

The match that makes WWE's list was their first pay-per-view match, a bout that took place at ECW Guilty As Charged in January 1999. This was right at the beginning of Tajiri's career in North America and as such his personality, look and style comes off as somewhat generic. The match is a whole lot of fun but majorly lacks in any real psychology or reasoning, as the two put on a clinic of spot after spot after spot.

They would have better matches over the next year, but this one seems to get the majority of the plaudits. It is surprising that, for a company that so often seems so against spot-fests, WWE is willing to scream such matches to the hills if they are cult classics not under their own umbrella.

This match is good, very good, but not deserving of being listed as one of the 100 matches you must watched before your time runs out.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
