9. Lars Sullivan's Weird Debut
From one controversial wrestler to another, Lars Sullivan's WWE career was dogged by injury, mental health issues, and scandals. The big man got his long-delayed main roster call-up the night after WrestleMania 35, but wouldn't have his first match until over a month later.
That match was a 3-on-1 handicap match against The Lucha House Party at 2019's Super ShowDown. This was a great chance to get Sullivan over a monster by having him beat three men at the same time, which is what happened... sort of. The three luchadors triple-teamed Sullivan in the ring for so long that the match was thrown out, meaning Sullivan won his first main roster match by disqualification.
This result did absolutely nothing for Sullivan who was supposed to come out of the match looking like a total beast, but instead looked like an idiot for trying to take on three wrestlers at once. What's even weirder is that Sullivan actually beat Lucha House Party in an elimination handicap match on the very next episode of Raw.
This bizarre booking choice didn't help Lars one bit and scarpered any fleeting chance of the crowd actually getting behind him.
