December To Dismember was the only single-brand ECW Pay Per View of the brand's history, and proved far worse than the two stand-alone One Night Stand events which led to the show's creation. It was so bad, in fact, that it did the lowest buyrate in WWE history, and is widely regarded as the worst PPV ever put on by the promotion. It even caused the company to book no further single-brand PPVs after the upcoming WrestleMania 23, so fearful were they that another show of similar quality would come along. There's far too much wrong with December To Dismember to elaborate upon in a single list entry, but here are some of the very worst moments of the PPV: Only two matches were actually advertised before the show (the main event Elimination Chamber, and The Hardy Boyz vs MNM); ECW favourite Sabu was pulled from the main event and replaced with Bob Holly; the show clocked in at under 2.5 hours long; and, finally, the main event was an utter disaster - from both an in-ring and booking point of view. Punk and RVD, the two most over men in the match, were eliminated first and third respectively, leaving Test, Lashley and Big Show to fight it out for the ECW Championship. Lashely won, not that it matters, and one of the most disastrous PPVs in WWE history was finally over. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xyamtz_extreme-elimination-chamber_sport
