Men on a Mission was a tag team comprised of Mabel and Mo, with a rapping manager named Oscar. So not only did their team name abbreviation spell M.O.M, the first letters of their names did as well. The idea behind the team might have been admirable, namely that the group was from the ghetto and wanted to spread a positive message through rap, wrestling, and waving arms, but the execution wasn't the best. Mabel (who would eventually become Viscera and Big Daddy V) wore outlandish purple bodysuits that made him look like a nightmarish version of the McDonald's character Grimace. Mo's equally unflattering purple singlets also didn't do him any favours. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jImwKuQC39I In the end, though, the team was mostly about music. Oscar would rap his team to his ring with terrible cheesy raps and get the crowd to wave their hands in the air, often as if they didn't care. While they might have been fan favorites in the cartoon world of 1994, they never did achieve much success as a team and when they turned heel, Oscar left the company and took his goofy raps with him.
