"Do Unto Others" was the slogan slapped across Stone Cold Steve Austin's 2001 best-selling shirt, but he foreshadowed the mantra when a No Mercy 2000 brawl descended into insanity before the 'toughest S.O.B' and his hit-and-run assailant Rikishi had even properly wrestled.

Rikishi had destroyed one of Stone Cold's pickup trucks with a sledgehammer following the reveal of his crimes, inadvertently handing Austin a murder weapon at the climax of their first official meeting.

After beating the f*ck out of the samoan for as long as he could get away with midway through the October pay-per-view, Austin dragged the bloodied big man into the car park to give Rikishi a Survivor Series receipt.

Propping him up against a wall, 'The Rattlesnake' reversed and revved the truck in his direction before a police car threw itself in the way of the attack. The law enforcement saved Stone Cold from himself, but saved a defenceless Rikishi from certain death.

Lucky for all involved too - "certain death" was effectively how the Austin/Rikishi programme was characterised by company insiders. In need of reheating, Austin's rage was instead channeled to a surprise string-puller the following month.

Failing to heed his first warning, Austin got back on his homicidal bullsh*t...
