10 Worst Things Vince McMahon Has Ever Done

7. Conduct Towards Talent

Look at the musculature on Rick Rude there. It is incredible.

During a time when every WWF star had a ridiculous, inflated physique, Rude arguably sported the most impressive. He wasn't as big as a Warlord, but he married sculpture and athleticism like nobody else. It is simply a marvellous thing to look at - so much so that its hypnotic charm informed his sexpot gimmick. Who could resist? Even Rude himself couldn't. He loved flaunting that thing around.

But, you see, it was rather too lean for Vince. He's more of a your-biceps-should-look-like-balloons-pal kind of guy. Rude revealed that Vince once told him that he didn't "look good," which Rude interpreted as a coded message to get back on the juice - to "push himself" after trying to establish a family. If that's what happened to a guy whose entire act was "fanny melter", just imagine what it must feel like to be a woman who wasn't skin and bones.

Sadly, your imagination is not required: Mickie James was infamously weight-shamed on WWE television for such an egregious offence. It's still happening now, if you look hard enough.

Ryback also claimed that Vince called him fat once, in a presumed attempt to get him into the gym for an even longer session.

Ryback!

Fat!

It's a cosmetic industry, a reality that sits uneasily alongside modern body standards and the accepted awful values with which they're shaped... but Ryback isn't fat, Jesus Christ.
