10 Worst Things Vince McMahon Has Ever Done

8. "Ritually" Is The Correct Word

For argument's sake, let's pretend that Prichard had some semblance of a point.

Friends interact differently with friends than they do those they aren't as comfortable with. If you see a colleague hop into the office on crutches, you're likely to ask if they're OK, express concern etc. If your friend hops in on their good ankle, you take the piss, knowing it's a minor injury from which they'll swiftly recover. If your friend undergoes a f*cking colonoscopy, you'll sh*t yourself and hope that they'll one day be OK. You're not Vince. But again, for argument's sake, let's go with the idea that Vince just has a particularly mean-spirited sense of humour.

In 2012, having phased himself out as a regular onscreen presence, Vince McMahon returned to RAW in a desperate ratings grab. Throughout the show, he toyed with everybody, faces and heels alike, in his customary way. At the end of the show, Vince was knocked out by the Big Show as John Cena tended to him. You were asked to sympathise with Vince as a d*ckhead figure you'd grown to love-to-hate or even love in spite of everything. This is important.

It is important because, halfway through the show, for no purpose whatsoever, Vince mocked JR's Bells Palsy with a despicable impression.

But he got kayfabe punched, so he's a nice guy you like deep down...
