10 Worst TNA Angles Ever

6. Samoa Joe's Nation Of Violence

Samoa Joe was partially responsible for many of the greatest matches in TNA history, including the oft-lauded triple threat with AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels, and a brutal caged showdown with Kurt Angle. It's fair to say that he didn't deserve the gimmick lumped on him in 2009. Although clearly proud of his Samoan heritage, Joe didn't allow his race to ever factor too much into his gimmick - focusing instead on getting himself over as a legitimate badass. That all went out the window upon the introduction of the 'Nation of Violence' angle, in which Joe embarked upon several acts of "savagery" while daubed in tribal facepaint - such as threatening opponents with a machete and stringing them up by their ankles backstage. To make things worse, the angle was all for naught, as Joe shocked everyone to align with the Main Event Mafia at Slammiversary - the very same stable he had been systematically assaulting for six months or so.
