6. That Old Sinking Feeling... - Against All Odds 2005
Another of TNA's first ever monthly Pay Per Views, Against All Odds boasted a main event with a particularly silly stipulation. Champion Jeff Jarrett squared off against Kevin Nash under the condition that his title would change hands in the event of a guitar-based disqualification. The cunning Jarrett, in a move the TNA booking team probably thought was hilarious, instead brought a cello out from under the ring. Unfortunately it broke as he prepared to hit Nash, forcing him to improvise. He hit Nash with the suspiciously soft-looking cello case, before attempting to strike him again with the body of the instrument. It was clumsy and horrible - but the worst was yet to come. A pair of run-ins suddenly confirmed to TNA fans that their favourite young stars wouldn't be getting a look-in for quite some time, at the top of the card at least. Billy Gunn ran in to help Jarrett, while X-Pac (or Syxx-Pac) came to the aid of Nash. Jarrett eventually retained after a belt shot. Hilariously, TNA hadn't yet thought of an original name for Gunn (as his WWE moniker was owned by Vince), leaving the announce team unable to refer to him by name. He wore a t-shirt emblazoned with the phrase "No Introduction Needed (you already know my name)". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_id2SIDvlU
