Of all the ill-advised Montreal Screwjob re-hashes in wrestling history, the worst received was perhaps the infamous Orlando Screwjob of Slammiversary 2006. Again it was Jeff Jarrett who benefitted from the shenanigans, ascending a ladder to win a King of the Mountain match and claim the NWA Championship once again. He did so with the help of Earl Hebner (the referee involved in the original Montreal incident), who blatantly pushed over a ladder as babyfaces Sting and Christian climbed to victory. Fans immediately clocked on, showering the ring with plastic bottles and general trash as Jarrett triumphed once again. Bear in mind that this happened in the main event of TNA's biggest show of the year, their equivalent of WrestleMania. The fans' fury is more than a little understandable, and to make matters worse, the result was immediately voided. Authority figure Jim Cornette came out to strip Jarrett of the belt, ending the biggest PPV of the year with a vacated championship. In the ensuing weeks, it was revealed that Hebner was actually part of no conspiracy - rendering the entire storyline nonsensical and pointless. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MENjk-wkIgg
