9. The Roll-up Of Death
Wrestlers are supposed to be presented as ultra-tough individuals who can absorb far more punishment than the average person. So its puzzling that almost every single person can be bested by the dreaded roll-up, arguably the weakest and least-painful-looking move in all of professional wrestling. You dont have to look far to see this boring move in action: at least one match per week ends with a roll-up, and more often than not it'll be a random divas match. It's such a cheap way to end a match. This moves use speaks to how lazy the booking is and how apathetic the wrestlers are. Why is it that almost every diva and many of the lower-card male wrestlers have to rely on the roll-up to finish their matches, instead of their, you know, actual finishing moves? Its far more exciting to see wrestlers win with their actual finishers than a random roll-up, which doesn't hurt and makes the person succumbing to it look rather inept. WWE needs to stop making its wrestlers win matches with this move.
