10 Worst Trends In WWE Right Now

8. Wrestlers Losing Due To Music Playing Or Obvious Interference

WWE wants you to think that its superstars are actually stupid. If they didn€™t, then wrestlers wouldn€™t be distracted so easily by another superstar€™s entrance music playing or someone appearing on the apron and screaming during the match. Put yourself in a wrestler€™s shoes (or boots, in this case). You€™re in a match against an athlete that has enough strength and skill to hurt you should they choose. You need to concentrate on not getting your ass kicked, while performing maneuvers that require considerable concentration. The last thing that you should be concerned with is another person€™s entrance music playing all of a sudden. But no, WWE likes to make it seem like anyone can interfere in any match, and the sound of a superstar's theme has this mystical power to gain the attention of anyone. In doing so, they can provide a lazy reason for wrestlers to keep feuding, instead of constructing an explainable storyline reason for two wrestlers to wrestle each other. It has reached a point where you can€™t expect certain wrestlers to lose clean, because interference will be used to keep everyone involved in a match looking 'strong' (or at least equal). But all that does is prevent storylines from moving further, leaving everyone involved trapped in a vicious circle where wrestlers trade wins and losses ad infinitum for little to no reason.
