10 Worst Un-Extreme Matches That Took Place At WWE Extreme Rules
6. Rich Swann & Sasha Banks Vs. Noam Dar & Alicia Fox - 2017
Unsure of what's more shocking about this entry: the fact that WWE had two cruiserweight matches on one card or that Alicia Fox got on a pay-per-view.
Alongside the submission match between Neville and Austin Aries, 205 Live was also represented by Noam Dar and Rich Swann , who were joined by Alicia Fox, who was dating Dar in storyline, and Sasha Banks, who was... there, for some reason.
This match came about when the alternate realities of 205 Live and Raw crossed over. Swann was feuding with Dar on the purple show and Banks was feuding with Fox on the red show. Dar and Fox's relationship led to these feuds colliding at Extreme Rules.
Whilst you could argue that a mixed tag team match is a stipulation of sorts, that's the only evidence of anything extreme happening here.
It was a pretty good match (apart from the bits when Alicia Fox wrestled) and the fans in Baltimore were sent home happy when Banks and hometown boy Swann walked away with the win.
Wait a second. A wrestler winning in their home town? Maybe this match was more remarkable than I first thought.
