Finn Bálor vs. Baron Corbin. Roman Reigns vs. Bobby Lashley. Team Hell No vs. The Bludgeon Brothers.

These are further examples of other matches on this card with no stipulation. In fact, even when you include the matches with stipulations, only two were some form of No-Disqualification or "Extreme Rules" match.

One of the more forgettable matches from this show was Jeff Hardy defending his United States Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura.

On paper, this sounds like a really good match, especially with a no-DQ stipulation that could allow Hardy to perform one of his signature high spots.

Sadly, this wasn't the case for numerous reasons.

Firstly, the match was booked as a standard singles match. Great. Secondly, Nakamura hit Jeff Hardy with a low blow before the match started, then hit the Kinshasa as soon as the bell rung. All in all, the match lasted six seconds before Nakamura picked up the win and the championship.

Whilst it might be nit-picking to criticise a six second match for not being extreme, the fact that this match wasn't even advertised as an extreme match is the problem here. Nakamura had to cheat to win ON A SHOW CALLED "EXTREME RULES".

Makes no sense at all.
