10 Worst WCW PPV Endings Ever

3. NWO Never Ends - Uncensored 1998

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x834l1_xcolision-wcw-uncensored-98-last-pt_sport The trifecta of awful. One thing that is definitely uncensored is the amount of ridiculousness that took place at this show during its six year run as a WCW pay-per-view. Rounding out this list with three appearances, the 1998 version is famous for an ending that wasn€™t an ending at all. The main event featured Hulk Hogan taking on Randy Savage, two fresh-faced youngsters who were finally getting their shot at the big time. The bout took place inside a steel cage (because Uncensored was all about the violence, you see), and was for control of the nWo. The ending came about when The Macho Man just decided he was going to peace out in the middle of the match. Paying fans-who WCW was beginning to lose to their competition in droves-were treated to an enormously unsatisfying match with no resolution, exactly they kind of thing the company should not have been doing. The Disciple interfered on Hogan€™s behalf, and then Sting descended from the rafters to side with Macho. The arrival of Sting from the top of the arena made little sense because he had just wrestled in the previous match, yet somehow still climbed into the rafters just in case he needed to make a dramatic entrance. As was typical with the later days of the New World Order, Savage turned on Sting, said the nWo was €œ4 life€ and then spat on Hogan before leaving the cage (which you€™re not actually supposed to be able to do, hence the whole €œcage€ thing.) It was a cheap copout and left fans disappointed and we were forced to endure more convoluted nWo infighting.
