10 Worst WCW PPV Endings Ever

2. Transmission Ends - Halloween Havoc 1998

What€™s the worst possible ending for a pay-per-view? To not actually have an ending. That sounds completely ludicrous, but that€™s exactly what happened at Halloween Havoc 1998, WCW€™s annual October event. The main event was a much-anticipated matchup between Goldberg and Diamond Dallas Page for the WCW title. Unfortunately that anticipation would have to hold on for one more night, as paying fans who purchased Halloween Havoc didn€™t see the match take place. In yet another WCW blunder, the show ran long and the company failed to inform the pay-per-view providers, so just as the bout was getting underway they feed was cut and the show ended, leaving the atrocious Hulk Hogan/Ultimate Warrior match as the memory Havoc ended on. A real travesty considering the main event was great, and easily the best match of Goldberg€™s career. To their credit, WCW ran the match in its entirety the following night on Nitro to try and make up for the error, but the damage had been done, refunds were issued and the company was left looking like morons yet again.
