10 Worst World Champions In WWE History
7. Kane
Prior to King of the Ring 1998, Kane promised that if he couldn't win the WWF Championship from Steve Austin, he would set himself on fire. When that match drew to a close - a first blood contest - The Undertaker saved his brother from a fiery fate, hitting Austin with a chair to bust him open.
Kane had become WWF Champion - but the very next day on Raw, he lost the belt back to Stone Cold. For years, that was it for Kane - he held many, many other championships, but it seemed like he would never hold a World title again.
Then, in 2010, Kane was part of the Smackdown Money in the Bank match at the inaugural MITB PPV event, and he won the briefcase. Just a half hour later, he cashed it in on World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio to win the title.
Kane held the title for six months this time, but his reign was characterized by some obscenely bad booking. When The Undertaker was found in a "persistent vegetative state," Kane swore to catch the culprit, but of course, it turned out it was him. That led to the last (but certainly not the best) feud between the two brothers, and then an even worse program in which Kane lost the belt to Edge.
