10 Worst Wrestling PPV Endings
2. TNA Victory Road 2011
Sting had to put up with a lot of bullcrap in TNA, but this was a slap in the face to himself and everyone in the company. And unlike other famous #LOLTNA moments, we can't put the blame (entirely) on management and creative. We say entirely, because while Jeff Hardy messed things up by coming to the show in no condition to perform, someone really should have stepped in and called an audible before the main event segment began.
Regardless, at Victory Road 2011, Sting was set to defend the TNA World Title against Hardy. However, the Charismatic Enigma was at a bad place in his life with his personal demons, and arrived at the show doped out on somas and lord knows what else. Realizing there was no way the match could happen, Eric Bischoff emerged and called an audible immediately before the main event. Instructing Sting to just pin Jeff and get out, the Icon finished his opponent in 1:28.
With the crowd drowning the Impact Zone with jeers, boos, and 'BS' chants, this debacle is seen as one of the most embarrassing moments for everyone involved.
