10 Worst Wrestling World Title Reigns Ever

8. Kane - July 18, 2010 To December 19, 2010

For years, so many extremely online wrestling fans wanted Kane to have "one last run" with the World Title as a "thank you reign". What? Just get him a cake and let him f*ck off. I don't have to watch that, but I would have to watch Kane, a wrestler so functionally mediocre that wrestlers adored working with him because it was the next best thing to a night off, dominate main event programmes a decade removed from when he was most relevant.

Besides, those people got their wish in 2010, and it was abysmal.

Kane captured the title from Rey Mysterio at Money In The Bank, who was at least a really good version of "uninspired" in the race to get the strap the f*ck away from Jack Swagger. The rematch at SummerSlam was the absolute best possible match one could expect from Kane in 2010, and it was bang average.

He then renewed hostilities with the Undertaker for the millionth bastard time in a tedious, f*ck-me-this-sh*te-again-I'm-f*cking-25-now-leave-me-alone retread of their hole-ridden hokum.

One million and two: they worked a trilogy of molasses-slow, ancient-feeling fare wrapped up in the usual silly gimmick matches before they had to do the screwy finish in the Edge match before the next one because your money is their contempt.
