This one's hard to write because Christian's a guy I saw wrestle multiple times before he was in WWE. Then I was there at his WWE debut when he made a run in at the September 1998 PPV called Breakdown. Did I ever think he'd be WWE Champion? Nope. My thinking was that he was too small, that WWE would never truly believe in him and he would always be in the shadow of his close friend Edge. His first World Title reign on the Smackdown brand happened at Extreme Rules 2011 when he beat Alberto Del Rio in an exciting Ladder Match. Two days later, he lost the World Title to Randy Orton. Fans on the internet were so angry. All those years of hard work by Christian and they took it away from him in two days. The World Title loss led to him turning heel, so the feud with Orton carried on for four consecutive PPVs with Christian winning the World Title one more time due to a DQ finish. Orton ended up getting it back a month later. Christian's two World Title reigns totaled only 30 days. Christian is not one of the worst World Champions because he was a bad wrestler. It's because none of his brief reigns were booked in a beneficial way. At least he got to become a World Champion, though. That's something to be happy about.
