Bill Goldberg is one of those guys that really was a huge deal for a brief moment in time in WCW in the late 1990s, but when he got to WWE in 2003 there wasn't a whole lot that was special about him. Feuding with The Rock made him look good, but what sucked for him is that was only one match and nobody else could make him look like The Rock. They brought in Goldberg on a one year deal. He quickly targeted Triple H. They probably should have put the World Title on him at the SummerSlam Elimination Chamber match, but that didn't happen. Instead it happened at Unforgiven on September 21, 2003. SummerSlam definitely would have meant more, but that's why some fans will always complain about Triple H. Goldberg didn't really draw well in WWE. He wasn't a ratings mover and attendance was just average. It felt like WWE didn't really want him around while he looked like he was going through the motions. Less than three months later, he dropped the World Title back to Triple H (in a triple threat with Kane) and then four months later was out of WWE. It was one of the most boring and uneventful major title reigns ever.
