The WWE Championship changed hands four times in the first half of 2000, as Triple H and The Rock played hot potato with the coveted strap.

Having lost the title in epic fashion at Backlash, The Game sought to regain his prize at Judgment Day. This wasn't just any old match though - this was an Iron Man match. For the first time since WrestleMania XII, two men would battle for an hour to see who could score the most falls.

Things were set to go into overtime until a returning Undertaker got The Brahma Bull disqualified after attacking Trips. The Cerebral Assassin was champion once more, but he'd done it in pretty wimpy fashion.

35 days later, Trips lost the title back to The Great One under equally unflattering circumstances.

The main event of King of the Ring was a six-man tag - Triple H, and Vince and Shane McMahon vs. The Rock and The Brothers of DestructionThe rules dictated that Hunter didn't have to get pinned to lose the title. Rock pinned Vince to win the match and the belt, ending this reign as weakly as it had begun.
