10 Worst WWE Entrance Music Downgrades

8. Wade Barrett

One of the most misused WWE performers in recent memory, Wade Barrett seemed to get a new gimmick every year or so during his seven-year spell on the main roster. Having debuted as the leader of the Nexus faction (that immediately lost all of their aura by being repeatedly fed to John Cena), he came to the ring to the stable’s fantastic ‘We Are One’ theme before switching to ‘End Of Days’ when he split off to form the ill-fated Corre faction instead.

A fantastic alternative rock version of this (the fifth overall) eventually became his theme as a solo performer, though it was short-lived. The repackaging of Barrett as a bareknuckle brawler (with the cringeworthy ‘Barrett Barrage’ moniker) saw him given new music in the theme of ‘Just Don’t Care Anymore’, which was supposed to be punk-like in tone but couldn’t have been further from the mark.

A further switch to the rather generic instrumental (aside from an utterance of ‘God Save Our Queen’ at the start) 'Rebel Son' just over a year later then lasted through his changes into Bad News Barrett and King Barrett.

Barrett returned, albeit as a commentator, after a 4-year absence earlier this year. Should he ever get into the ring again, let’s hope ‘End Of Days’ can make a comeback instead of any of the drivel that followed it.
