Glenn Jacobs has been a part of the WWE since 1995, when he debuted as Jerry Lawlers dentist, Isaac Yankem DDS. After that, he played the Fake Diesel in 1996/7 before being repackaged as Kane, the Undertakers long-lost brother. Since then, Kane has had to deal with gaining his voice, losing his mask (and gaining it back again), a necrophilia angle, an angle where he electrocuted another mans testicles, and worse than all of those: Gene Snitsky. Still, Jacobs is a trooper and a company man, and he rolled with all of it on the way to a career of surprising longevity. Its obvious that Kane is entering the twilight of his career with Jacobs nearing his 50s. While his tenure in WWE should be focused on taking a limited role and putting over younger talent (like he was doing with Bray Wyatt last Summer), Kane instead joined The Authority as Corporate Kane, carving out a role in the main event scene and unmasking again, wrestling in black slacks and loafers. After Daniel Bryan won the World Heavyweight Championship, Kane re-masked (again) and became The Demon Kane, chasing Bryan and his wife Brie Bella around in a really awful horror movie homage. After the Bryan feud was over, Kane unmasked (yet again) and went back to being Corporate Kane, proving that the writers had no idea what to do with him. Because of his accomplishments over such a long period of time, Kane is a surefire Hall of Famer, but 2014 was a year to forget for the character.
