10 Worst WWE Gimmicks Of 2015

1. Macho Man-Dow

At the beginning of 2015, Damien Sandow€™s stock had never been higher. He was the most over he had ever been in his career as The Miz€™s stunt double, and was beginning to make his push toward independence from Miz, and get the big push he rightly deserved. He was even featured prominently in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal at Wrestlemania, lasting until the very end before being eliminated by Big Show. After splitting from Miz, however, the creative team had a complete brain-fart on Sandow, not knowing what to do with him. AxelMania was happening around this time, so WWE stuck Sandow with Axel, this time having Sandow come out as the Macho Man. In what should have been a one-time-only thing, Sandow kept coming out as Macho Man-Dow. Their highest profile match was a PPV pre-show match against The Ascension. It was a serious step back for Sandow, who was on the cusp of being a main event superstar. When Axel lost the AxelMania gimmick, Sandow lost the Man-Dow gimmick as well, and neither he nor Axel have sniffed television time since. No stock has plummeted more this year than Sandow€™s, and it€™s a shame, because he€™s such an entertaining guy. Because of what it ended up doing to a wrestler who for months was the highlight of the show, Macho Man-Dow easily takes the cake for worst gimmick of 2015. Thoughts on this list?
