5. Kerwin White
One night on RAW, Chavo Guerrero came out with his black hair dyed blonde and wearing a pressed shirt with khakis instead of his usual tights. On this night, the WWE Universe cried a bit when he announced he was now Kerwin White.
As a proud member of a legendary wrestling family, there was no reason to strip away all signs of his heritage, but nonetheless, WWE creative felt turning Chavo into a “white guy” was a terrific way to get him over as a heel.
The concept was that he was going to expose the company in some way, presumably for racist actions, by denouncing his roots and appearing white. Or something like that, despite the fact he then engaged in all of the things he once stood against. In the end, the gimmick simply came off as offensive, especially when considering his catchphrase, "If it's not White, it's not right."
