10 Worst WWE Intercontinental Champions Ever

1. Dean Douglas

When your title reign doesn't even last one day you're clearly the worst Intercontinental Champion ever. Dean Douglas was awarded the IC Title at In Your House 4 in October of 1995 due to the real life injury suffered by Shawn Michaels when he was attacked at a Syracuse nightclub days before the match with Douglas. Since Michaels was too injured to compete, Douglas became the new IC Champ. It wasn't a night of celebration, though. Razor Ramon challenged Douglas for the IC Title right there and beat him clean in a match that went about 11 minutes. Two months later, he was out of WWE. Douglas wasn't liked by Michaels and his friends in the Kliq (that includes Ramon), so the story is they used their power to make Douglas lose the title even though there were plans to make him a champion because Douglas was regarded as a good all around talent. Sometimes talent doesn't matter, though. If you make enemies out of the wrong people it can kill your career. The fact that Douglas was never welcomed back to WWE is proof of that. At least he did make some history as the worst Intercontinental Champion ever.
